Not as easy as I had thought

This blogging stuff is hard work. I'm usually just spouting off about any and everything in day to day life but every time I try to think of a decent subject to post...I come up blank. So, I decided to write a post about not being able to think of anything to post about. I admire a lot of the bloggers I read because it just seems as if the writing flows from their fingers. I'm wondering if they all started slow or if it's just me and my inadequacies. We shall soon see.

I saw a few lists on some blogs that were something like "Sevens" or "100 Things about me" or "10 things you may not know" or something along those lines. Maybe I should try one of those and see if it gets me out of the blocks and running. If nothing else, it would be a post. And maybe the only 2 people that I can tell have even visited this blog (and I use that term loosely) will at least know I'm trying and they might even learn a little bit about me. So stay tuned...I think I'll bum around a bit more and find a list to try.

Hey look!! I actually wrote a few lines!! More to come. I hope.

LOL @ you. I started off slow, wait I still am *giggles*. Remember it's your blog, you can write about what ever pops up in your mind, funny pics whatever you like. :-). The Me Me's are fun and so are some of the "Things about me" that you are talking about. Remember to just have fun with it . :-)

Don't force it and try to entertain anyone. That's my biggest advise. I just post what pops into my mind and write it as if I was telling you the story out loud. Make it like we were hanging out and you were telling me something. I didn't know what to post in the beginning, so I just introduced my self. Last Sunday was my simple comment about my coffee and floaters.

My Vietnam story is different. That story has been waiting to be written for 37 years. I've told many of those stories so many times, over the years, so getting them down isn't that difficult for me. The hard part is making sense out of what I'm trying to say so you can understand it. I do have one advantage though, I'm also a technical writer for procedures and instructions and have been doing that for many years. So getting my point across in procedures has helped me write my blog.

Hope that helps you.
