If you want my opinion....

I think tonight's episode of American Idol went a lot better than I expected. I predicted Paris to fall on her face and she, in the words of Randy Jackson, "worked it out". I think they all done well with the music of Queen except Ace. He may want to enjoy tonight in L.A. because I'm afraid he will be watching from home or the audience next week. Katharine McPhee stole the show with her great looks, voice, and stage presence. I still want her to be in the top 3. She's by far the best female on the show. The old Taylor is BACK! He rocked it hard to clinch one more week on the show. Rock on, Soul Man!! And Kellie Pickler...damn!!! She was looking hot AND sang her ass off tonight. Who would have thought she could pull off Bohemian Rhapsody? She'll be back. Bucky is a wild-card. Who knows where he'll be next week. I don't know what Paula Abdul is drinking, smoking or popping but it's some good shit because every week Bucky is "in his element" with her. I'm wondering what else Bucky has had in her. You know she has to have one every year, and I'm thinking it's Bucky, since Ace plays for the American League and Chris probably has more women than Ron Jeremy.

On to Nashville Star. As bad as I hate to admit it, my MILF Nicole Jamrose is not gonna be the next Nashville Star. She's struggling now. Write it down people (or just wait for the backlink when it comes true), Chris Young will be standing with Casey Rivers as the final 2 in 3 weeks. And will probably win the whole shooting match. Casey was in the bottom 2 tonight so his fanbase might spring him to the #3 spot next week. But Chris is GOOD. He's got the look, the voice, the talent...and tonight proved he could write at least one good song. I'm not gonna be surprised if I hear "Drinking Myself Lonely Tonight" on the radio in a month or less. And I don't mean hear it FOR a month and then it's gone, like we did with Brad Cotter from the 2nd season and Erica Jo from last season. I liked Brad Cotter, still do actually. It's just that you never hear his stuff on the radio anymore. And I think I heard Erica Jo MAYBE 3 times. But this boy, Chris, is going to be opening for the big names pretty soon as well as singing on the radio quite frequently. I'm sure he has an obligation to promote the program for a year or so but I say he will be bigger than the original Nashville Star, Buddy Jewel. Just remember where you heard it. And I'll remind you if you forget.
