And it's all over but the crying. And dialing. And texting.
American Idol is done with the competition for the season and it's up to the fans to put the winner on top.
As bad as I hate to agree with him, I have to go with Simon on the way the show went tonight. Round One to Taylor - Two to Kat - and Taylor with the closer.
The third round was probably not the best round for Katharine to be the deciding factor. I personally did not like Kat's song AT ALL. I think she lost this one on song choice, if she even had a choice in choosing it. And Taylor just has the stage presence to pull the crowd right into his Fun-Zone when he's singing. He really is a performer. And in my opinion...the next American Idol.
He practically rounds out the music genres for AI too. Kelly was the pop Idol. Rueben the R&B. Fantasia is the rap choice and Carrie is the country winner. Now if Taylor wins, they've got the blues/jazz man and a complete set.
Tomorrow will tell.

I think you just like Taylor because of those "Alabama is where Idols come from" banners! :)
He did get the crowd going, though! I'll be happy with either one as a winner, since I think they both sound fantastic & they are both adorable.
Woo hoo! I'm stuck at the office and haven't watched it yet but I will as soon as my butt gets home! :) Can't wait for tomorrow.

Yep, I agreed with Simon too...and I'm pretty confidant Taylor will be bringing another AI title home to us in Alabama!
I agree with you, Taylor will win. Too bad though. Kat is very pretty and has a great body, so I think she should win. She won't though. All, the jealous women will vote against her and for the guy with the gray hair. What women see in a guy with grey hair is beyond me.
