Another Wednesday night...another Idol contestant gone.

You can't imagine my relief when Seacrest cut the drama short with the announcement that Chris was going home tonight. And you could've cleared the stage with a fistful of Girl Scouts. The shock on the faces of both Chris and Katharine was very apparent. I think she fully expected to go home and was actually somewhat prepared for it. And I must say that I was a little prepared myself, and oh so glad when he smacked the grin off of his face. Sorry, Trick. But you're stuck with at least one more week of putting up with her.
I got to see Taylor's rendition of "Jailhouse Rock" finally. It was everything I'd thought it would be. Pretty good actually.

Anyway, I'm off to bed and Chris is off to the airport. Life is good.
