A sign of things to come?

Let's hope not. First official day of summer and I snapped this as I got in the truck to go home. A little after 5PM.

This is in a WHITE truck, folks! In June. I can't wait until August gets here.
I checked the pool with my toes the other day and it feels almost like bathwater. I'd guess the water temp at around 90-92 degrees right now. I didn't look at the thermometer. That's 28,000 gallons of moving water...heated that warm. Add to that the fact that it hasn't rained in a month and there's still no rain in sight for the next week. Yeah, you might could say it's hot here.

Anyone up for playing in the lawn sprinkler?

Love the sprinkler...I use little one as an excuse to get it out in the summer now.

I miss up North this time of year!

We can't even use the sprinklers up here except for on Mondays and Wednesdays....The city told us so...it's like living in a communist country! ;)

Us too, Chuck. Something to do with even & odd days, depending on what number our address ends in. I couldn't figure out all that nonsense, so I threw the card away. I just try so stay inside, where the a/c is working just fine :)
