Saturday morning ramblings
This morning, I was cooking breakfast and had the TV in the den on CMT just for a little noise. I heard this song and recognized it as one I'd heard on the radio once before and liked it but didn't catch who the artist was singing it. I won't use this opportunity to hail the benefits of TiVo but after I got to a "stopping point" with the cooking, I hit the rewind button on the remote and watched the video for the song. It's a pretty good song to start with and a cool video to boot.
So now, here I am, posting the video for you all to watch. It's got a real "traditional country" style to it so if you're not a fan of that kind of music, you might not like it. But while doing the search for this song, I found another one by the same artist that is a little more upbeat.
This is the one from this morning:
And here's the one I found:
Anyone want to come help me fix my boat? It'll only take a few minutes. The line to the water pressure gauge popped off so now water is spraying out from under the dash. I just have to pop the dash out and put the line back on. And then we can haul ass to the river to make sure it's properly repaired. That might take a little longer. Probably the rest of the day. Anyone up for a few hours of riding the river and partaking of a few adult beverages? Maybe a little skiing would tempt you? Or grilling on the boat? Or we can just beach it on the sandbar and float around neck-deep in the cool water. Did I mention it's been hotter than 2 rat's fu**ing in a wool sock (behind the dryer) this week?
If not, what are you doing this weekend?

I want to be on the boat today....damn, I wish I had read this earlier
I saw Trent at the Texas Stadium show. He also rocked the house with Trace's new hit Hey Batter Batter!
I'm scrapbooking!
I haven't heard the first song yet but I like it. Thanks for the vids.
And I was neck-deep in the water this weekend. It was great. I hope your boat is running OK now.
