We're back from Music City, safe and sound. I'll get some pics and further details up tomorrow maybe. But I want to at least tell you a good joke that I heard at the Opry Saturday night. To start with...you'd have to hear the guy telling it to really find it as funny as we did. His name is Mike Snider and he is as country as a brown egg. He makes the guys from Deliverance sound like college professors. The boy has got an accent. Now for the joke:

This farmer was standing in the yard with his 3 boys. The oldest says to him, "Paw, I'm 16 now and I'd like to be thinking it's about time to be getting me a car."
The farmer tells his son, "Yessir, I'll agree. It's time we start thinking about it. But we have to get that John Deere in the barn paid off first. Then we can see about getting you a car."
His middle boy spoke up. "Paw, I'm 14 now. All them other boys my age have got 4-wheelers. I'd sure like to have me a 4-wheeler."
The father replied, "I can understand that. And as soon as we get that John Deere yonder paid off, we'll see about getting you a 4-wheeler."
The youngest son pipes in, "Paw, I'm almost 12. I think it's time I get me a bicycle. You think I could have a bicycle?"
The man looks down at his youngest and says, "I know you want a bicycle. And as soon as we get that John Deere paid off, we'll definitely get to work on getting you one."
About that time, a hen walks by with a rooster following close behind her. The rooster cuts the hen off and climbs up on her back. The youngest boy walks over and kicks the rooster off of the hen and says..."Ain't nobody riding nothing around here 'til we get that John Deere paid off."

Again, you'd have to hear him telling it to really appreciate it. But it's still funny as hell.
