Is it Friday yet?

The week so far has been a busy one for me. Work is still wide open despite the passing of our usual "busy season". Labor Day usually marks the winding down point for us. Damned if I don't think someone moved Labor Day. Add to it the fact that 2 weeks ago, the company implemented a completely new host system that is supposed to replace 5 operating systems that we were using. I'm not sure they thought this whole thing through. Technical difficulties abound but seem to be slowly getting corrected as each day passes. If there's one department I'm glad I'm not in right now...it's Data Managing. The boys in IT are earning those dimes this month for sure.
I suppose if I'd go on to bed, the middle of the week would hurry upon us. And then it would be downhill from there. Only thing about that is, Fridays have been the worst days of all the past 2 weeks. It just makes the beer taste better in the afternoons though.
Best of luck to you all in the week ahead. I'm waiting on Saturday. It is hunting season, you know. Nothing like sitting in the peaceful woods at sunrise to get stress out of your system.
