Mental block ahead

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

This is just a short post to let folks know I'm still around but have no clue what to write about.
So...in the nature of Sir Snagley himself, I will open the forum to questions. Ask me a question, and I will do my best to answer it.

Okay, I'll be the first, and since today is the first day I've commented on blogs in several weeks I reckon I should make this one a good'un....

I'm tempted to ask a question(s) about Tubby being a whiney ass beyotch, but I won't...

My question is this...Do you think Auburn might have a better chance gaining those coveted BCS points if they were to actually play a decent team from out of their conference?

For the record I hope Auburn again beats Bama in the Iron Bowl...

P.S. GO VOLS!!

I appreciate the link

but to my question.
Do you prefer welded wire or woven wire for a goat fence.
How high would you make it.
How far apart would you put the posts
And would you use barbed wire at the top or an electric charged wire.

also would you make cheese with the excess goat milk or simply feed it to the chickens for extra protien

Chuck - First of all, it's good to hear from you again and I hope all is better with you and yours.
Secondly, I don't think inter-conference play is the problem. It's the lack of recognition from the BCS that the SEC is a formidable conference and is very capable of producing a national champion. I still say the playoff system will work for 1-A football. Why wouldn't it? It works for every other collegiate sport. Take the conference champs from each area and match them up in a bowl game. Loser go home, Winner go on. It's worth a closer look.
And I'm with you on the Iron Bowl. I think Bama has a long road ahead of them this year.

Bo - Welded wire panels are more expensive but will outlast woven wire 3 to 1. Less maintainence as well. The posts would be spaced according to the panels. One at the joints and one in the middle of each panel. A charged wire will work much better than barbed due to the coarseness of the goat's hair and hide. They are affected very little, if at all, by barbed wire alone.
What to do with the excess goat milk is determinate upon the time and effort you wish to put into it, as well as how much excess there is. A little goat cheese goes a long way because it is so rich, but it takes a lot of milk to make a little cheese. Try both ways and see what works best for you in your situation.

No One - Obviously, you've never had a herd of goats loose near your shrubs, flowers, garden, etc. Goats are a real challenge to keep penned.
