I hope it's all worth it

Now I know why beef jerky is over $20 per pound. It's work!

I've already spent about 5 hours on this deer jerky and it's just now in the Ziploc bags marinating. I'll start the actual cooking tomorrow. It takes about 8 hours per batch so that will be another day's worth of waiting. I hope it turns out tasty and tender.

Time will tell.
