Filler Post

This is merely a post to at least provide a little buffer between the HNT posts, since it will probably be Thursday before I post again.

It was a very busy weekend. We (my wife and I) cleaned up all the leaves and pinestraw in the yard on Saturday. And might I add, that was a LOT of leaves and pinestraw. I did a little math based on the size of the trailer that we used to haul it to the curb with and come up with a rough estimate of nearly 1000 cubic feet of straw and leaves. (For the mathmatically-challenged, that would the equivalent to a cube that was 10' high, 10' wide and 10' high.) The better part of Sunday was spent running hither and yon and making arrangements to do even more work NEXT Saturday. We have a 100' tall pine tree beside the house that has died due to pine beetle damage and it has to be cut down and cleared away before it falls on the house or into the pool. So if you need me next Saturday between the hours of 8AM and God-knows-when, I'll be cutting and hauling wood. Feel free to stop by. All hands welcome. I'll even provide the cold beer upon completion of the job.

It's been a tough week already at work. I think I must have OD'd on Mondays or something. Somehow, it seems that I've wound up with two of them in a row. Tomorrow is the hump at least. Make it past noon and at least it's not as long as it has been. Hopefully, you're all having a good week thus far.

Here's to the weekend, wherever it is. However short it may be.
