I could be the next American Idol!!

As long as the competition was limited to the Minneapolis-St. Paul auditions, that is.

Tonight's auditions, in a word...SUCKED! I found more entertainment in the judge's heckling than the tryouts. And I must say, Jewel is the epitomy of wholesome good looks. We have a friend that could pass for her twin. Seriously. I didn't realize just how much they do look alike until my wife pointed it out tonight. And what's even more bizarre, the friend's name is Jill. I even referred to Jewel as Jill one time while commenting about something. It's weird.

Anyway, it has to get better than this. Surely.

Next stop...Seattle.
